My Review

The hotel is in a great location, but as the same company appears to own all the hotels in Old Amersham the lack of competition shows. Their market, at least at the weekends, is clearly wedding parties so anyone not in those groups is overlooked - not helped by the fact they appear to be suffering from staffing shortages, so service was slow at times - particularly at breakfast
The room was quite cramped, though the aircon was good. The matress was pretty lumpy and sagged down in the middle making for not a great nights sleep. Just one plug socket in the entire room and wifi that may actually date from the original Georgian construction of the hotel.
