I’d had a short lunch break so that I could get away a bit early as the flight was at 19:35, but in the end I had meetings that ran on until well after 16:30 so it was a bit of a rush to get out of the house and down to the station in time to make the first train after 5pm.

Thankfully all the connections worked, albeit missing three buses in a group at Feltham, so I made it through security and into the lounge with just over an hour to spare.

It was a smooth journey through the airport and, despite a 15 minute delay on departure we arrived in Stockholm only a little late and very quickly off the plane.

My hotel for the evening was located by Sky City which sits between terminals 4 and 5, but my flight had arrived into terminal 2 so it was a good 10 minute walk to get over to Sky City to get checked in and then very quickly to bed as I needed to be up early.
