Capri: Grotta Azzurra 
Description
A small cave in the cliffs, which through a quirk of the rocks and the white sand bottom glows an iridescent blue. You are taken into the Grotto in a small row boat with the oarsmen judging the waves to ensure they don't decapitate their charges. Inside the cave it is an amazing site, and pretty stunning acoustics.

Getting There
The cheapest option is to take the bus to Anacapri (every 20 minutes, 15 minutes) and change there for a bus to the grotto (every 20 minutes, 10 minutes). Alternatively there are a large number of operators running from the harbour that will take you round to the Grotto where you change, mid sea, into the row boats.Latitude: 40.560977; Longitude: 14.205639
