Description
Located about 23 miles north of Naples, but still in the shadow of Vesuvius this town is home to the Reggia di Caserta - the enormous Baroque palace of the Kings of Naples.

Getting There
There are regular trains (at least hourly) from Napoli to Caserta taking about 40 minutes to make the journey. Check in advance though as some trains leave from the above ground platforms at Napoli Centrale and others leave from the underground platforms of Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, and it's a good 10 minute walk from one to the other.Latitude: 41.072069; Longitude: 14.331288
