General:

The main airport of the country, but still quite small

Appearance:

The airport was in the middle of expansion and refurbishment at the time of visiting

After landing its onto a bus to the terminal building and the small immigration hall, with just three desks. Through to the baggage reclaim hall. From the reclaim hall there are two hanging signs - good to declare and nothing to declare, which you have to walk under rather than an actual customs hall, then you are out into the main arrivals area

Three desks, which struggled to cope with the arrival of a full flight

A small reclaim hall

You make your customs declaration by walking under either a 'goods to declare' or a 'nothing to declare' sign

There are busses from the terminal building to the city centre and the train station. At the time of visiting, the tracks of the new rail link to the city centre were being laid.

After checking-in in the very small main hall, you walk through a very cramped security screening area to the departures lounge. Airside there are less than 50 seats, and only limited facilities. Not somewhere you want to be stuck with a lot of delayed flights! From the gates, at the time of visiting, its busses to the planes out on the airfield

Two small bar cafes landside, one small bar café and a vending machine airside

Two small bar cafes landside, one small bar café and a vending machine airside

There are no formal restaurants, only the cafes

A couple of small shops airside

The toilets are clean
