General:

The main airport of the country and International hub for the country

Appearance:

The airport has a modern terminal building

Inbound

There are no domestic flights in Bosnia

We landed on a remote stand, but it was a walk rather than a bus to the terminal, there was quick and efficient passport control and then through to the two baggage belts. Customs was busy with several people being pulled over

Immigration was quick and efficient

There were two baggage belts in a space that could have handled more

Customs was a single area irrespective of if you had goods to declare or not, the customs officials were quite busy pulling passengers over

There is a roughly hourly bus (200E) that heads into the city centre, taking about 45 minutes to make the journey

Outbound

The small check-in area on the ground floor was able to cope with the one Austrian and one Turkish flights that were departing, but would have struggled with more. Once through security and passport control you have to walk through the duty free store and then out into the quite basic departures lounge. We departed from a remote stand, but walked to the plane rather than buses.

Limited facilities both airside and landside, with only a small café

Limited facilities both airside and landside, with only a small café

There are no full restaurants in the airport

One large duty free store and a small kiosk store

The toilets were OK
