description | Most appear to be modern low floor buses. They are comfortable, clean, reliable and regular. However they are very well used and it is difficult to get a seat. |

description | At the time of visiting in 2014 two sets of three routes operate in different parts of the city, but work was underway to join the two networks via Diagonal to create one network that spans the centre of the city. Modern low floor trams provide a regular service during the day that becomes very infrequent at night. A heritage tram line runs up to the funicular railway at Mount Tibidabo using historic Barcelona trams (not included in the integrated ticketing) |

Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona and two lines by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya
web | www.tmb.cat and two lines by www.fgc.cat
description | Efficient, clean and light on the platforms though at most of the stations you have to walk a long way to connect to other lines and in some places down some quite unpleasant (dirty and not particularly well lit) passage ways. Displays on the platform countdown the seconds till the next train. Most of the trains appear to be relatively modern and clean though there is only limited seating |

The Telefèric de Montjuïc links the top station of the Montjuïc funicular with the castle at the very top of the hill using individual gondolas that arrive every 30 seconds or so. The older Aeri del Port is a two cabin cable car that operates across the harbour from the Old Harbour to the side of Montjuïc. The cars run every 15 minutes or so. |
